The Purpose of the Fitchburg Republican City Committee is to promote the principles of the Republican Party, to cooperate in carrying out the programs of the Republican State and the Republican National Committees and to promote the election of Republican candidates.

THE FITCHBURG REPUBLICAN CITY COMMITTEE WANTS AND NEEDS YOUR HELP!!
Unfortunately our Republican candidates and the Party was defeated in November 2012. We were defeated, but we are not gone!! We are dusting ourselves off and are coming back, stronger than ever. We have many ideas on how to attract new members to join the Party as well at to attend our monthly meetings to help in our activities throughout the year.
Why did we lose, because in part because we did not have YOU. YOU didn't become involved and participate, you let others do the work. We were willing and able, but fell short. It is now your time to join in and help. We don't need you sitting home feeling sorry for yourself and asking how could "he" have been re-elected. There are local elections in 2013, an unexpected Senate race, as well as U.S. House positions open again in 2014. There may also be some special elections in MA that will need all hands on deck to help get out the vote. Don't sit at home again this time. Join us this time. We could have made a difference in 2012, but we didn't have enough supporters to help us get out our vote. Don't let this happen again. If you had joined us, we may have changed the results!

Like it or not, Obamacare is a Tax
"Sentinel and Enterprise" columnist, Peter Lucas, Tuesday, July 3, 2012 clearly articulates that the Supreme Court has determined that Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act is a tax. This one fact has a potential dilitorious impact on s successful second term for the President. A pledge to not raise tax has been the bane of previous presidents who failed to go on to second terms. "Fast and Furiously" They Ran Away from their Duty
Many people don't know about the gun-running debacle know as "Fast and Furious" so they are not aware of the cowardice displayed by Nancy Pelosi and many other House Dems including the Congressional Black Caucus as they fled down the Capital steps last Thursday. Why were they on the run, fire drill???? No, they were running to salvage Attorney General Eric Holder from a bi- partisan contempt of Congress vote for withholding key evidence in the gun-running program that resulted in the death of an American border patrol officer and many others. Running away from critial votes seems to be the purview of the liberal dems who don't want to face uncomfortable votes. A Star is Born: FRCC's First Foray into FATV is a Hit!
The FRCC appeared on FATV's "Inside Fitchburg" on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. We think our Chairman, Stephen Hartka is a superstar for going on the show and did a wonderful job in presenting Fitchburg's Republicans in a positive and comprehensive way. One of our candidates, Tom Weaver also did a super job with host Bill Gates.
